Hi, I'm Jess..
Born and raised in Cannes, France moved to the states when I was 8 years old not knowing one word of English. I am fluent in both French and English, and after accomplishing a new language I knew I could accomplish pretty much anything. Growing up my parents worked very hard to provide for us and give us a better life. Both of my parents have been a huge inspiration in my career path. My father being one of the best hairstylist in Cannes Film Festival, I was lucky enough to learn it all from him with adding a little Jess touch to my art. What I have learned from my mother was more of the business side of things because of her amazing education and having her MBA. I got lucky because I got the best of both worlds to become extremely successful.
My passion for hair started roughly eight years ago when my parents decided to open up their very own hair salon in Scottsdale AZ. For a long time, I was lost and unsure what I wanted to do professionally. Upon the grand opening of the salon, I watch this salon flourish into what it would be today and it is then that I got truly inspired and knew this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
Although my dad was the owner of the salon, I still wanted to work from the bottom up so that I could learn the ins and the outs of the business. I started working at the front desk, setting appointments, ordering products, managing inventory etc...
I think what truly separates me from many other stylists is the fact that I had the opportunity to learn from my father who is amongst the elite in this space. I was fortunate enough to be able to watch him work, and learn from him since I could remember.
Fast forward a few years, I became an expert in the field, but there was one last thing missing. Although I was learning everything at the salon, I still decided to enroll in cosmetology school to make this official once and for all. I graduated in 2014 and was ready to make this dream a reality and begin my journey to follow my dad’s footsteps.
When I was ready to start my career, I wanted to be able to do everything under the sun whether that was cutting, color, highlights, or anything else. I am proud to say that I was able to accomplish that, but I wanted to have my own specialty.
I soon found my passion for extensions and throughout the past couple of years, I have thoroughly enjoyed learning the ins and the outs of this industry and finding my own way to specialize in my own niche market. The pride I take in my own venture and the feeling I get when I see the look on my clients faces after I finish with them has fed a deep passion in me for not only extensions but this industry as a whole, and is really what keeps pushing me everyday. This is what makes me love what I do.
